1.Who this policy covers

Catalyst Real Estate Group is the trade name and marketing brand of Roop Josan Personal Real Estate Corporation. Catalyst Real Estate Group is a marketing brand and is not a brokerage.

Roop Josan is an Associate Broker licensed with Oakwyn Realty Ltd. Real estate services are provided through Oakwyn Realty Ltd., which is the brokerage of record. Under the Real Estate Services Act of British Columbia, records created in the course of providing real estate services are held by the brokerage.

This policy applies to catalystrem.com, to project websites operated by Catalyst on behalf of developer clients, and to lead forms, advertisements and registration forms operated under the Catalyst name on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.

2.What information is collected

Information you provide directly. First name, last name, email address, telephone number, and answers to questions you choose to respond to, such as whether you are a licensed realtor, your purchase timeline, the home type or size you are interested in, and any message you write.

Information collected at events and sales centres. If you attend a presentation centre, open house or launch event, your name and contact information may be recorded on a registration form or sign-in sheet, along with the name of the realtor representing you, if any.

Information collected automatically. When you visit a website operated by Catalyst, standard technical information is collected, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and the page or advertisement that referred you.

Catalyst does not ask for and does not want your financial information, health information, government identification numbers, or any information about your credit, income, debt or net worth. Do not send this information through a website form, a social media form, or an unencrypted email. If financial information is required at a later stage of a transaction, it will be collected through the brokerage or through your lawyer, notary or lender by a secure method.

3.How information is collected

• Forms on catalystrem.com and on project websites operated by Catalyst
• Instant forms attached to advertisements on Facebook and Instagram
• Registration forms and sign-in sheets at sales centres and events
• Email, telephone, and text message when you contact Catalyst directly
• Cookies and similar technologies on Catalyst websites

4.How information is used

Personal information is used to:

• Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
• Send you information about the specific project you registered for, including floor plans, pricing, availability and event invitations
• Contact you by email, telephone or text message to follow up on your registration
• Provide real estate services if you choose to work with Catalyst and Oakwyn Realty Ltd.
• Send marketing communications about other projects and market updates, where you have consented to receive them
• Measure the performance of advertising and improve the websites
• Meet obligations under the Real Estate Services Act and the rules of the BC Financial Services Authority

Marketing email and text messages are sent in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may reply STOP to any marketing text message to opt out.

5.Who information is shared with

Personal information is not sold. It is shared only as described here.

The developer of the project you registered for. When you register interest in a specific development, your contact information and registration details are shared with the developer of that project and with the project sales team, so they can respond to you and manage the sales process. Each project's developer is identified on that project's website and marketing material.

Oakwyn Realty Ltd. As the brokerage of record, Oakwyn Realty Ltd. holds records created in the course of real estate services.

Service providers. Catalyst uses third party providers to operate its business, including GoHighLevel for customer relationship management and marketing automation, Mailgun for email delivery, Netlify for website hosting, and the analytics and advertising measurement tools described in section 6. These providers process personal information only on instruction and only to deliver their service. Some of these providers store and process data on servers located in the United States, which means personal information may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by United States authorities.

Advertising platforms. See section 6.

Where required by law. Information may be disclosed where required by law, by court order, or by a regulator including the BC Financial Services Authority.

6.Advertising platforms and Meta tools

Catalyst advertises on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, and uses Meta's business tools.

If you submit a lead form attached to a Catalyst advertisement on Facebook or Instagram, the contact information you confirm on that form is sent to Catalyst and enters the systems described in section 5. Meta also processes that information under its own Data Policy.

Catalyst may use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API on its websites. When used, these tools report events such as page views and form submissions back to Meta so that advertising performance can be measured and so that advertisements can be shown to people with similar interests. Catalyst may also create custom audiences by providing Meta with hashed contact information.

Catalyst may use comparable advertising and analytics tools from other platforms, including Google and TikTok, for the same purposes.

You can control how your information is used for advertising through your account settings on each platform, and through your browser and device settings.

7.Cookies

Catalyst websites use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure advertising. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Turning off cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

8.How long information is kept

Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as required by the Real Estate Services Act, the rules of the BC Financial Services Authority, and other applicable law. Records relating to real estate services are retained by Oakwyn Realty Ltd. in accordance with those requirements. Marketing contact records are kept until you withdraw consent or ask for your information to be deleted, subject to any legal retention obligation.

9.Your choices and your rights

You may at any time:

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message
• Reply STOP to a marketing text message to stop receiving them
• Ask what personal information is held about you
• Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications
• Ask that your information be deleted, subject to record retention obligations that apply to real estate records

To make any of these requests, use the contact details in section 11. A response will be provided within 30 days.

10.Security

Reasonable physical, organisational and technical safeguards are used to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and information sent by email or through a web form is sent at your own risk.
